Common errors: grey or off-white backgrounds, sunglasses or prescription glasses left on, tilted head, or photo is more than 6 months old.

Fix: Use a passport photo service or online tool that checks compliance before you upload. Double-check the white background and remove all eyewear.

Mistake 2: Applying on a Third-Party Website

Dozens of websites mimic the official Brazil eVisa portal and charge $150-200+ when the official fee is $80.90 USD. These sites offer no additional benefit and some are outright scams.

Fix: Only apply at brazil.vfsevisa.com – the official portal. Verify the URL before entering any payment details.

Mistake 3: Name Mismatch with Passport
